Child Abuse in America

Child Abuse in America was grown a great deal in the last twelve years. In 2012 alone there was 500,000 reported neglect cases and that was only 78.3%, 100,000 reported physical abuse cases at 18.3%, 60,000 reported sexual abuse cases at 9.3%, 50,000 Physiology Maltreatment cases at 8.5%, and 20,000 reported Medical Mistreatment cases. We as a whole have to color together and stop the abuse in the world. Child Abuse is one of the reason our generation has come lost and that has to change.

Here is a link:  http://www.childhelp.org/pages/statistics that will show just how bad abuse numbers are.

They work hard.. We reward them..

They work so hard at the car wash we hosted on June 7. All it takes is just a little time to talk to them and work with them. So many people are so quick to write them off instead of showing them how to become a positive adult. Kids and teenagers watch our every step and they repeat we they see. I think these kids and teens deserve to have someone to show them a good example.

"Hold On And Don't Let Go"

If you have a dream never give up on it. Sometimes we don't want to try anymore because it gets difficult and we feel like we are in it by ourselves. It could be that you are in it alone but find your motivation that will push you to your next level. You hold on to your dream and don't let it go. I don't remember the teachers saying " Yes your dream will be easy to achieve". They always said you had to work hard for it. A lot of us let go because of an obstacle that are place in front of us to make us stronger. Without those obstacles you will never be ready for our dream. Hold On And Don't Let Go....

" If You get Push, Push Back In A Different Way"

Sometimes it seem like some people just push you and push you until you react to being push. It's like they want to see you upset and step out of character. Don't step out of character if you do you will give the satisfaction of having control over you. Find certain things that will keep you from getting to the point where you want to " SNAPP". Such as: walking away, counting to ten, going running, read a book or etc.. Be your own person do not let the next person control your day.

Don't Give Up On Yourself...

In life we are face with problems that we sometimes think we cannot get through. It is our mind telling us we cannot make it. Install in your mind that "Yes!" you can get through. No matter if you are a high school drop out, grew up poor, or have just a single parent. Never Give Up On Yourself we can make it work just stop and take it slow but not too slow that your life pass you by.

RESPECT " It Starts At Home"

Respect starts at home and it is very important for us as adults to install Respect into our children. Respect is the one element in their lives that will take them farther then education. Nevertheless, education is a very important essential in life and we all need it. Having respect shows no matter what you went through in your life you overcame it and any negativity that may have set you back you was able to turn it around and apply it to your life. Having teens growing up in a world where parents do not  respect themselves only show them that it is okay to be the same way and IT'S NOT. As a matter of fact it is the worst thing you can do for your child. Yes, we are ordinary people and we make mistakes but this is one mistake that is being repeated over and over. It is the young people that are suffering from it. There is a saying that said " If a man don't respect his mother then he will not respect you" and that is true because half of the time because daddy didn't respect mommy or mommy had a different man in the house while daddy was at work. There are so many different ways that respect can be lost by a child. Some women do not trust men because they was rape or touch in the no-no area and the other way around. We got to fix it and it starts at home. Teach the young one to love and respect themselves. Once you have master loving and respecting yourself you have no other choice but to love and respect the ones around you.

Self Control

Self Control is a very important trait to have. Without it teens sometimes act without thinking that cause them to commit an action that they will later regret. There are countless numbers of males and females teens that are in YDC or prison because they did not have self control. Self Control is the ability to control your emotion and either prevent getting serious punishment or holding in some excitement you may have. If you have self control problems set a goal that will allow you to over come that issue and take it one step at a time.

Suicided Prevention

There are many different sign that a young person will give off when he/she are thinking about committing suicide. A lot of times they will not say anything but they will withdraw from the people that are closest to them. They will start giving up all the things they loved such as hobbies. They will become very dark and it will seem like they have anger issues. If you notice this in your son, daughter, sister, brother, or any friends/family you want to notify someone that can help ASAP. That's when Teens Making A Change will step in and try to prevent he/she from doing anything irrational.
